This really rang true with me as we just returned from dinner at a place where Karaoke was the main entertainment of the evening.
Some of the singers were really good and a few were pretty terrible. But we couldn't help but give even the worst of the lot a hand for getting up there and giving their all. By the end of our meal, my usually shy husband was singing along softly and I do believe he could have been persuaded to perform after a few beers. The fact that some of the singers were less than stellar was encouraging to him and with his voice being so true and smooth, he knew he could do it if they could.
These people were hearing their own music and enjoying an experience even though they knew they were less than perfect. We could learn a lesson in courage just watching them.
May you live until the song of your life has sounded its last note.
