You think children are curious? Well....they aren't the ONLY ones! Ha!Ha! I have a 6year old Shih Tzu that is just as bad, if not worse! LOL! His name is Bandit, and he is a BIG boy! He is a standard Shih Tzu, and weights 22 pounds. I've had him since he was a year and a half old, and he is Delightful company! Sometimes he sleeps with me at the foot of my bed, and sometimes he sleeps in his bed beside my bed. (I have put things under my bed and between my bed and the wall so he can't get under it). Well,...the other morning, when I woke up he was sleeping on my bed at my feet. I got up, but he really wasn't ready to get up yet so he stayed in bed. Sometimes he does this. I came out to the kitchen and made my coffee and was sitting there planning my day, and I hear him woolf! It was just one woolf, and not very loud. Pretty soon, he woolfs again and I think he must be dreaming! Then all of a sudden he starts in barking!! As I go back towards my bedroom, I say to him, "What's the matter?" When I get to my door, I don't see him anywhere! I say to him, "Where are you?" He in turn answers me with a "Woolf" and I know he is UNDER my bed! I pull some things out from the side, and he crawls out wagging his tail and is all excited that I had rescued him! I petted him and made over him and asked "How did you get under there?" Upon investigation, I saw where he had pushed some of the things I had along the wall away just enough he could crawl down and under the bed and get trapped! Needless to say I fixed that! LOL! Now, he has been sleeping in my bed for years, and has never even bothered to investigate that area! Why he did now, I have no idea, but I don't think he will do it again anytime soon! Ha!Ha!
I hope you enjoyed and got a chuckle out of my little story today. Just put a smile on your face and greet the new day! Remember, it takes more muscles to frown than it does to smile ;), and besides, with a smile on your face, people will wonder what you have been up to! Ha!Ha! Have a WONDERFUL day, and God bless! :)

ReplyDeleteBetter he roamed under the bed then out the front door! lol
Thanks for sharing as I feel better with a smile on my face too :-)
Pet owners are one step ahead in the game I think. Our pets are a true drama preventive. They draw our attention to the truly important things in life with gentle nudges, kisses, barks and purrs as well as their funny ways.
