Drama comes in many forms and from many directions. It could be from work. It could come from your spouse or the kids. It could be the morning news on TV or in the newspaper. Whatever the source, there is one tried and true cure for the blues, or as we say it here, Drama.
You just need someone to put a smile on your face! I think it's a scientific fact that when we smile or laugh, it actually makes chemical changes in our brains. These changes make us feel better. So let me try to at least get a smile on your face to start your day right today. Let me tell you how my day is going, so far.
Yesterday, at my doctor appointment he told me that I had better get rid of that spare tire I'm carrying around my waist or the future may be filled with drama. (Translation: I might die too soon.) Not too funny so far, huh?
Well, I took his words yesterday to heart and promised that I would start the very next morning making changes. So far this morning I have been doing great! I've already burnt 600 calories... I left my bagel in the toaster too long!
Well, I hope I got at least a little smile from you. Smile at everyone you see today, even strangers. You'll brighten their day and some of them will even smile back, which will brighten yours. And if someone causes you drama today, don't fight, don't even speak. Just smile at them... maybe even giggle a little if you're in the mood. It'll drive them crazy! Are you smiling? :-)
